4Good Manual for 2001 Tahoe  Nov 03, 2009 By Jason Golod "The IG"
I have a 2001 Tahoe LS with the 5.3l motor...this is a decent manual that I have used a number of times for servicing the braking system, replacing shocks and soon sway bars. Essentials like torque specs are all listed in the appropriate areas. There are more pictures than I anticipated, but you can always use more. :)

5Wow, a repair manual!  Apr 20, 2008 By J. Walters
I bought this manual for two reasons:
First, because the owners manual didn't describe in detail what should be greased as part of the regular maintenance.
Second, at some point I'll have mechanical problems with the truck and I wanted to have this manual on-hand when that happens.

I learned a lot from this manual relating to maintenace an inspection.
What I didn't expect was the tutorial on nut and bolt grades at the beginning of the book. It made for a good read ;)

4The instructions I needed  Dec 31, 2009 By Eric Kjeldergaard
I purchased this book for instructions on a transfer case replacement. The pictures and detailed instructions made the entire procedure very straightforward and the savings in shop fees easily recuperated the purchase cost of the book.

5Good Manual  Jan 08, 2011 By Charles Grassau
I have been using the Haynes manuals for years. They are extremely well written and much easier to follow that the Chilton series in my opinion. These have alot more illustration and more year model specific. Chilton tries to combine too many year models and body styles into one volume and is alot harder to sort through. Fully illustrated wiring diagrams also are very helpful

5Must have  May 08, 2008 By Scott J. Clark
This is a must have manual for the do-it-yourself who needs assistance making repairs to your vehicle. I did find at least one error where the section number did not correctly list the page number for the problem.
